Smells Like...Victory


In the world of sponsorships (which is a world the IRL would dearly like to be more involved in), Target Chip Ganassi Racing announced that Air Wick air fresheners would be a primary sponsor on the sidepods of the Yellow Shirt's favorite Italo-Scotsman who married Ashley Judd. (Photo all over the front of Ganassi's website). Naturally, this is great for the Air Wick people because their logos figure to be all over victory lane numerous times this season.

Sure, it's not one of those classic sponsors like Pennzoil or Miller Beer or...well, Target (whose bullseyes shall remain on the car in green and white), but it's better than nothing. Plus, it'll help us figure out which Ganassi car is kicking the rest of the field's ass.

Also, even if Dario doesn't win the championship, he'll certainly win the prize for "best-smelling motorhome in the paddock." Really, isn't that what it's all about?

No word yet whether or not Air Wick actually makes a "napalm-in-the-morning" scent...
